WCL AFTER FIVE puts you in the center of the dialogue. Join us as we take on topics that impact your work, community and home life. On April 24th, Kirsten Jones, Peak Performance Coach, will lead us in a discussion of how we develop grit in ourselves and in the next generation.
“In this instant New York Times bestseller, pioneering psychologist Angela Duckworth shows anyone striving to succeed—be it parents, students, educators, athletes, or business people—that the secret to outstanding achievement is not talent but a special blend of passion and persistence she calls grit.”
Each month we will unpack different topics inspired by books, podcasts or articles that will keep you current. To honor your busy schedule, WCL will make it easy for you by providing summaries so you can join in these important conversations even if you don’t have time to read the book.
Kirsten Jones is a Peak Performance coach, author, motivational speaker and the mother of three extraordinary teens who are also athletes.
