Advocates of EQ, or emotional intelligence, suggest that one trait happy and engaged people have in common is Emotional Intelligence. A 2013 Gallup study found that only 13% of us consider ourselves to be “happily engaged at work”,  and that “business units with highly engaged employees average 21% higher profitability”. Emotional Intelligence is also core to high performers. Daniel Goleman sites,  “of the competencies required for excellence in performance in the job studies, 67 percent were emotional competencies."

Join WCL and Emily Lily, Director of Culture at FULLY,to examine this critical skill.  Emily has dedicated her energy to raising the EQ of individuals, teams and organizations by welcoming human emotion into the workplace. In this session, Emily will guide on how to develop gratitude, active listening and the practice of mindfulness to increase our self-awareness in life and in work. As creatures who think, then feel, then act, adopting these practices will increase our emotional intelligence, individual productivity and happiness.
